It’s been a little while since our most recent Forward Emotion blog. The last time we checked in with you, I was working on training Peanut, our new puppy (who isn’t such a puppy anymore). We had also recently moved into our new location at 1440 Maple Avenue in Lisle. And I was brainstorming some of the ways we could use our amazing, larger space at our new location. I mean, 2020 has had so many crazy plot twists and turns, I figured it was a good year to make sure the changes we were experiencing were great ones! And so, I am thrilled to introduce to you our four new team members who have joined Sabrina, Erica, and I here at Forward Emotion!

Angela DeChant, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Angela DeChant, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Angela DeChant, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Angela is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is super excited to be a part of a team of other therapists and providers who are like minded. Erica and I are thrilled to have a third licensed therapist in our practice so that we can help even more people experience improved mental health.

Angela is very sweet, and I can tell already that she is a hard worker (we might have to remind each other to slow down a little bit). Angela is also a respiratory therapist! She has a super cute granddaughter that she enjoys spending time with (I saw a picture and I just want to pinch her cheeks).

Meg Ludwig, Akashic Record Reader and Reiki Energy Healer

Meg Ludwig, Akashic Record Reader and Reiki Energy Healer

Meg is a Certified Reiki Master in the Usui Reiki lineage who incorporates tarot into her readings.  She calls herself an Intuitive Spirit Translator. Meg grew up in Lisle although moved to LA where she was trained and then started a business called The Clarity Alchemist. Meg is passionate about helping people heal themselves and find their connection to what they believe in. She does this by giving actionable guidance to seekers of any background.

Meg has a great energy and sweet personality. She loves animals and has even been called Dr. Doolittle by her family. Meg also enjoys running and dancing, and her favorite music is old school blues and funk.

Gina Pozzi, Executive Administrative Assistant

Gina Pozzi, Executive Administrative Assistant

Gina is our new executive administrative assistant. She will be completing intakes, checking insurance benefits, reconciling insurance claims, posting to social media and other administrative tasks. Gina is the one who helps keep things going smoothy and I can’t say how much I appreciate her hard work and dedication.  She may be ‘behind the scenes’ but she is very much an integral part of the team!

Gina loves watching her son play baseball, going to concerts (something she wishes she could be doing more of) and food (making it and eating it). She also has a love for Halloween and macabre things, which is right up my alley!

Emily Thomas, Tarot Reader & Intuitive Creativity Coach

Emily Thomas, Tarot Reader & Intuitive Creativity Coach

Emily is our new Tarot Reader and Intuitive Creativity Coach. She will be offering intuitive tarot readings as well as coaching sessions. Emily is passionate about helping her clients increase their innate intuitive abilities, teaching them ways to build their confidence and helping them learn to manifest their ideal life using creativity and the universal images found in tarot. She is trained as a Tarot Master by the Wargachuk Academy.

Emily loves nature, gardening (especially brassicas) and dancing to workout. Emily is patient, caring and knowledgeable. I love the way she adds creativity to everything in her life, from her clothing, to her planner. Emily grew up in the Pacific Northwest and we are so happy to have her here with us in Lisle.

Supporting the Mission of Forward Emotion

Finding our new office was the first part of our mission of reaching more clients and helping more people experience improved mental health. Manifesting our incredible new team members was the second step in that goal. And the third part to tie it all together? That is you, our clients.

Of course, right now we are still working with limitations on how many people can gather in person and have enough physical distance between each other. While we are so excited to use our beautiful, welcoming space and offer the workshops and events that we are all envisioning, we also want to promote your physical health and do our part in flattening the curve of Covid19. That’s ok, though, because I firmly believe in serendipity and that the right time will come when we can be together in one location. In the meantime, watch our Facebook page and our email list so that you can stay informed about upcoming events any other announcements like this one. Please reach out to Gina at info@forwardemotion.com to schedule a session with Angela, Meg, Emily, Erica, Sabrina, or me.
